WILDLIFE
Portraits of the Wild
Sometimes I step out of civilization as we know it and get into the bush. There is a calm in being in the wild, surrounded by the delicate balance of beauty and mystery of wildlife. Every time I am in there I am reminded of the need to protect this world, because we share it with other species.
Capturing the true essence of an animal takes patience and learning. You might not always capture what you want, but you can never come out of the bush empty handed. Wildlife are easy to photograph; they only require your respect and a decent enough camera.
In this collection, I share some of my favorite work. Portraits of the jungle and the savannah, spanning over a decade. And still I yearn to get back in the jungle and photograph more, because the truth is, you can never experience the same animal twice, even if it is the same animal.

And what a tragedy it would be if we did not capture the memories we make. If we let the beauty of moments pass by unnoticed, unseen, unremembered.
